STORY WEEK 2023
From 1–8 October, Story Week 2023 (SW23) celebrated great writing powerfully performed.
From Sydney Opera House to local community centres, SW23 presents 20 events across seven days – showcasing close to 100 writers and bringing together a vibrant mix of poets, storytellers, comedians, lyricists and idea-spreaders.
OUR IMPACT
Annually, Word Travels' live programs engage more than 3,000 participants and 23,000 audience members.
Your tax-deductible donation helps Word Travels support performing writers to establish careers in Australia and internationally. Hundreds of people from diverse regional communities have become working spoken word poets through Word Travels' programs.
