Miles Merrill and special international guest Ursula Rucker appeared on ABC TV to discuss the inaugural Word Travels Festival, slam poetry and its importance as a movement and way of creative and political expression.
RADIO : ABC Radio National - Australian Poetry slam
Radio National was the media partner for Australian Poetry Slam. We did a national call out for slam champions that provided content for RN and promoted the APS across the country. Dozens of poets rang in and left poems on an answering machine. Will Small from Wyong was chosen by listeners as The Radio National Slam Champion.
