Troy Wong was born and raised in Western Sydney, the first child of Singaporean expats. He is the author of three collections of poetry: Spitfire, Someone Else's Egypt, and most recently, hAROLD. From 2016-2018 he helmed the monthly Granville Poetry Slam (formerly Parramatta Poetry Slam) as host and creative director. He was a national finalist in the 2015 Australian Poetry Slam and has toured his work in Australia and Singapore. His work has been published in Cordite Poetry Review, Pressure Gauge Press and the Australian Poetry Journal’s ‘spoken’.
