Troy Wong was born and raised in Western Sydney, the first child of Singaporean expats. He is the author of three collections of poetry: Spitfire, Someone Else's Egypt, and most recently, hAROLD. Since 2016 he has helmed the monthly Granville Poetry Slam (formerly Parramatta Poetry Slam) as host and creative director. He was a national finalist in the 2015 Australian Poetry Slam and has toured his work in Australia and Singapore. His work has been published in Cordite Poetry Review and Pressure Gauge Press.
