Story-Fest is a 3 day spoken word festival packed full of live literary mayhem in the form of spoken-word, poetry, stories, lyrics and monologues.

Held annually in October by Word Travels, the event consists of a variety of workshops, poetry slams, discussion panels and comedy acts culminating in the electrifying Australian Poetry Slam National Final.

In 2017, Story-Fest attracted over 1000 people with events such as 'Spoken-Word Women', 'Queerhyme' and 'Guffaw'.

This year Story-Fest β€˜18 will run from 19-21 October in the Sydney CBD.

Story-Fest's aim is to provide a platform for people to come together in order to perform, share and learn about spoken word.

This year, Word Travels is collaborating with individuals, groups, and organisations to contribute events. These could be workshops, panel discussions, lectures, film screenings, or performances.
