Performing writers from every region of NSW will seize the microphone and electrify the audience.
From Byron to Albury, Blacktown to Kempsey, the voice of a state comes to life in one poetry packed night.
Featuring Singaporean poet, performer and four time TEDx speaker, Deborah Emmanuel and a special performance by the Tabua-Peachey band, the slam is judged on the night by randomly chosen members of the crowd in a night of wild words where you can click your favourite poet to victory and boo the judges if they give the wrong score.
Co-hosted by Northern Territory Slam-master Laurie May and APS National Champion Jesse Oliver, The top two performers will then go on to compete at the Australian Poetry Slam National Final the next day on Sunday 21st October.
