A Chat with Kaie Kellough

  • Bay 43 10 Circular Quay West, The Rocks NSW 2000 Australia (map)

Canadian poet Kaie Kellough is a brave sound scientist.

Kaie investigates and deconstructs language, breathing life into stories of the Afro-Caribean diaspora. His works are unlike anything you have ever heard. He can pull apart phonetics and syntax turning words into cadences, phrases into hums. He's completely outside the "spoken word" or "slam poetry" box.  His voice is what the Australian performing writers need to hear now.

Kaie is chatting with Spanish-Australian audio story-teller Belinda Lopez.

A Chat with Kaie Kellough is presented in partnership with the Government of Canada.

Tickets: $11 / $15 (+ booking fee)

Please note A Chat with Kaie Kellough is a Festival Hub Event.
