SPINELESS WONDERS is a multi-platform publishing company devoted to short, quality fiction produced by Australian writers. We’re interested in brief fiction in all its forms – from short short stories to novella. We also publish ‘microlit’, a unique blend of microfiction and prose poetry.

Jane Watt

Jane is an actor, writer and comedian. Theatre credits include: The Cripple of Inishmaan (Mad March Hare); Spamalot (One Eyed Man); Gypsy (Luckiest/One Eyed Man); DNA (Bakehouse, Last Person Standing); War Crimes (ATYP). Film/TV credits include: The War that Changed Us (ABC/Electric Pictures); The Greenhouse (Everyone We Know). In 2018, she toured her original comedy shows to the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the United Solo Festival in New York. Jane teaches and performs with Improv Theatre Sydney (ITS) and hosts the monthly improv show Bang Bang Rodeo at The Old Fitz Theatre.

Patrick Lenton

Patrick is the Entertainment Editor at Junkee, and author of the short story collection A Man Made Entirely of Bats published by Spineless Wonders. He is also a member of the Improv Theatre Sydney House Team, Chef's Kiss. He was a member of a poetry boyband called The Bracket Creeps. He won the Canadian Club Best Comedy Award at the Sydney Fringe.

Maddie Parker

Maddie is an improviser, actor, and comedian who has trained with Improv Theatre Sydney, and New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade. She is an ensemble and faculty member with Improv Theatre Sydney, and is a founding member of well-known troupe Confetti Gun. She has performed at the Sydney Comedy Festival, the Sydney Fringe Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Enmore Theatre, the New Theatre, and the Old Fitz, and internationally across the US, New Zealand and Germany.
