She has been engaging diverse audiences in writing and performance for fifteen years, and is the winner of the 2018 Nimbin Performance Poetry World Cup. She has performed at numerous cultural festivals and events throughout Australia, including Sydney Writers’ Festival and Overload Poetry Festival. Sarah holds degrees in English, Music, and Teaching, and Honours in Creative Writing for her thesis on Spoken-Word Poetics.
Sarah enjoys helping kids and adults fall in love with poetry as a teacher and workshop facilitator. She works to improve appreciation of spoken-word poetry in the classroom and broader community. She resides in Murwillumbah NSW and performs frequently in the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast regions.
