is a poet, novelist, and sound performer. His emphasis, when performing vocally and electronically, is on narrative, diaspora, and noise. His upcoming book of poetry, Magnetic Equator, will be published by Penguin Canada in Spring 2019. Kaie is the author of two sound-poetry recordings, two books of poetry, and one novel, Accordéon, which was nominated for the Amazon First Novel Award. He is now completing his first collection of short fiction, which leaps time and latitude, and divides its consciousness between North America and the Caribbean.
