Daiane Moret is a Brazilian born spoken word poet and mother.
With a Bachelor in Psychology and a degree in acting, it was in poetry that she found the space to explore all the different layers of her identity and reflect on her place in the world. Dai’s art navigates personal experiences whilst deconstructing given identities, embracing elements of the Brazilian culture and retelling narratives while re-signifying herself through it.
She is the current Bankstown Grand Slam winner. She has featured at Poetica, Newcastle Fringe Festival, Sydney Writers Festival, National Reconciliation week and Melbourne Spoken Word festival.
